wireframing and redesign of the D.Call application
As part of the transition process to the company's new offices throughout the country, the firm decided to redesign a dedicated application used to reserve work stations and access contact details of the company’s employees.
THE CHALLENGE
To create an improved dedicated application for managing the reserving of workstations in a simple and convenient way
The reservation process was based on a complex multi-condition activation model
In order to create an optimal and efficient work environment, various factors had to be taken into account when booking a workstation.
THE SOLUTION

Hoteling
The user can search for available rooms and book a workstation in a Deloitte office. The application displays useful information such as employees who have assigned positions, compliant days, the number of available places in the room, and existing equipment in the position.

Call
In addition, the user can locate the contact information of other employees in the company, and search and filter by department. The contact information also contains the booked workstations (if any), and the fixed and mandatory days of the employee.

The available rooms are displayed under the relevant floors in order to reserve a workstation for the current day, as well as checking availability for the upcoming days.

Booking based on proximity to the rest of the team
Rooms are displayed taking into account reservations already made by the work team (if any) in order to reserve a position as close as possible. Thus, each available room will display specific employees who have reserved positions and the times they have reserved.
